Site History
Mew Mew Academy started on the 17th February 2005. It is 2 years old!!!
In 2005, I started Junior High. I was in 7th Grade then and in a class with
people I hardly knew anything about. As weeks went on I slowly got to know some
people who were in the same class as me.
One day, my friend, let's just call her Zakuro, brought a book to school. It was
called Tokyo Mew Mew. She said it was really good and that we could borrow it.
So all of my friends, Mint, Lettuce, Pudding and me got to borrow it and read
it.
When it was my turn to borrow. After I finished the book I was spellbound. I
loved it. It was way too cool and I liked how some of the characters life were
the same as mine. And that's basically when I wanted to read more of the series.
And then more weeks went by and all of us had finished reading the entire
series. We all loved the TMM books.
Then one very boring day when we were doing Unit Studies/Social Studies I came
up with a very random idea. We could form a club for Tokyo Mew Mew. And so we
did. All of us had our could pick the characters we wanted to be in the club and
weirdly their were no cross overs. Like two people wanted Zakuro or 5 people
wanted Pudding or something like that. So I was Ichigo, and another one of my
friends were Mint, Lettuce, Pudding and Zakuro. Back then we only had 5 members.
And then the Term 1 holidays finally came along.
I was bored to death during the holidays so I decided Hey, why don't I make a
website for our fan cub and so I did. The problem was I that then, I had NO IDEA
about web designing and HTML so I basically sucked at layouts and stuff. So I
got books out of the library and learnt it and browsed the internet for stuff
and I finally had the hang of it and made my first layout. it was very
satisfying. But it still looked stupid and I couldn't do anything about it. I
named the site Mew Mew Academy because you know.......we made the club at
schoolxD. I didn't know why I chose it but I liked
it and it stuck on.
Later when we were back at school, I told my friends about the site. And they
were happy that we had a club site.
So you see Mew Mew Academy is actually a site for our club and now it's just for
Tokyo Mew Mew Fansite. I actually have no idea why I put Tokyo Mew Mew
Power. It's not like I like the USA Version of TMM. But anyways. That's how the
site started! and as you can see my web designing is way better than it was in
2005. And in 2007, (first year at high school) We had to remake the club as most of our old members went to a different school or we just don't hang out anymore! So we have all new people in new positions!

Domain History
Mew Mew Academy was first hosted on
Freewebs under a subdomain
like www.freewebs.com/yournamehere/
That was when I decided I wanted a shorter domain name.
Then I decided it was too long and too annoying so I moved the whole site to
110MB there I did the site again but
again there were too many ads and if you accidentally did something against the
rules you internet connection would be cut and you'd be on your country
blacklist so I quickly moved from there too.
Then I moved to
bravehost
as lots of people recommended it to me so I tried there. Again the site didn't
last very long only for about two weeks XD and then I shut it down. Cause there
were too many ads and it ruined my pretty div layer layout. So I moved.
The I found a new site as you can see on my splash page and it would host your
domain very nicely and there were no forced ads or anything only a small link
back button on your first page so I chose that hosting. My site is still
currently hosted by freewebs but there are no ads as you can see XD and the
domain name isn't too long!!!
